Invitation Letter |
Dear Colleagues
This is an announcement of courses offered by Pilsen pathologists, which will take place at the Bioptical Laboratory in Pilsen, the Czech Republic between March 31st (10:00 a.m.) and April 2nd 2006 (5:00 p.m.). The courses will be done at a multihead microscope. Because the multihead microscope has altogether 22 seats, there is a capacity of only 21 seats for participants.
Within these 3 days the participants will take 6 courses, each of which will take approximately 3 hours each. There will be 2 courses every day. Slides from many hundreds of interesting cases will be shown. The topics of the courses will be: Pathology of the Head and Neck (Dr. A. Skálová), Pathology of the Skin (Dr. D. Kazakov), Pathology of the Breast (Dr. Z. Kinkor), Pathology of the Urogenital Tract (Dr. O. Hes), Pathology of the Lymphatic Tissue and Bone Marrow (Dr. L. Boudová) and Selected Problems in Surgical Pathology (Dr. M. Michal). The only spoken language during the courses will be English.
For interested participants we are planning a short trip to Prague including a dinner in a Prague restaurant on the Royal Road on March 31st. The dinner will be paid by sponsors of the course. The course will end on April 2nd in the evening.
The whole course will cost 50 Euros. The cost of accommodation amounts to around 40 Euros per night and will be arranged by the organizers in the city pensions. For pathologists from Eastern Europe and Latin America there may be a discount on the fee. This discount will be discussed after payment and arrival in Pilsen. Registration will be based on the rule "First come (paid) first served". After mid- February 2006 fee money will not be paid back in case of cancellation.
